Lewis Morris a land agent, settled in Cardiganshire in 1742 and soon became involved in disputes between the crown and local landowners over mineral ownership. He prepared a detailed report on the mines in the hill country to the East of Aberystwyth - this volume publishes details of his descriptions with plans and maps.
