Bookworm - Board Game
Originally devised by Oxford Games to celebrate the Bodleian Library's acquisition of the Opie Collection of Children's Literature.
This game is an entertaining introduction to children's literature across the ages, Bookworm is a charming and challenging game for all the family. To play the game, a passage from a children's classic is read aloud, followed immediately by four questions based on particulars mentioned in that passage. Bookworm can be played by persons of any age.
Bookworm comprises one hundred and twelve cards - each carrying a passage from a different children's classic; background information on each book, a game board which is beautifully decorated with an amusing Edwardian Alphabet.
