'Hanes Tregaron a'r Cyffiniau' by D. Ben Rees

This is a comprehensive book about Tregaron and the surrounding area, with a wealth of entertaining stories and portraits about great benefactors of the Welsh countryside, including a number of famous people from the area, such as Henry Richard, Ambrose Bebb and Cassie Davies, also lesser known characters such as local poets, wanderers and farmers. This book coincides with the return of the National Eisteddfod to the area.

The author, D. Ben Rees, was born in Tregaron, and grew up in Llanddewi Brefi. He is well known as a prominent preacher and a prolific writer in both Welsh and English.   He has lived in Liverpool since 1968.
